The owners of this comfort food sandwich shop—located in San Francisco, California—wanted to create a casual neighborhood space that’s inviting to locals. I was brought in for the initial design when it first opened, suggesting floor and wall tile as well as equipment layout. As the business grew and their needs changed, the owners chose me once again to redesign the countertop and equipment layout to fit their new business model and give it a fresh new look.
